Master Hong is the head instructor and driving force behind M.T.L Taekwondo, bringing championship-level experience and more than eleven years of teaching to every class he leads. A 5th dan black belt, he spent over a decade competing at the highest levels of the sport before dedicating himself to developing the next generation of students.
Competition Background
Master Hong is a two-time Korean National Taekwondo Champion in kyorugi (sparring) and the holder of numerous provincial titles. He trained for thirteen years as a competitor and served on Korea's national reserve team from 2002 to 2003.
